Retail System & Support Administrator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an analytical and data driven Retail System and Support Administrator to join our company based in our Head Office in Watford.

The timely and accurate maintenance of the retail systems and associated information provision and support are critical to the smooth running of the Retail business. Daily maintenance of the item restrictions of the Shop’s supplier catalogue within the Retail systems will ensure that the most competitive and flexible purchase prices are available to the service station operators. Daily maintenance of the product ranges within the Retails systems ensures the ability to apply a Company standard across all service stations.

KEY ACTIVITIES

  • Process the daily catalogue file from the Shop’s supplier into the Retail Systems.
  • Review the exception report from Retail Systems to identify any additional products that should be made available to the service station operators, ensuring compliance with the range of allowable products as specified by the Shop Category Managers.
  • Add new products and remove old products from Retail Systems in line with the range of allowable products provided by the Shop Category Managers.
  • Respond to queries from the service station operators in relation to item restrictions and other associated Shop database issues.
  • Liaise with the Shops team regarding any queries related to the item restrictions and other associated Shop database issues
  • Provide regular and ad hoc information to the Shops team and management teams as required.

What you need to be successful in this role:

  • Previous experience in Data Entry, food retail preferred but not essential
  • Numerically literate
  • Organised and methodical approach
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience of Customer Service
  • Excellent communication skills (spoken and written)
  • Must be intermediate level with Microsoft Excel
  • Able to work under own initiative and part of a team and be flexible in their skills and attitude
